"The Willis Bros. are a tremendous resource"
-Monterey Herald

"Your columns are so beautiful. You should put all of these "essays" together into a book. The way you tie in surfing to philosophy, living a good life, serenity, and the inner life is sheer poetry full of richness."
-Karen

Ohana

Ohana in Hawaiian means family. From the smallest village to the largest countries it's the family that is the foundation of society. Being part of a family, giving and receiving unconditional and everlasting love is essential to maintaining a healthy life.

The buzzword in the corporate world is team building or bonding. Brilliant executives know the value of installing family feelings and values in their staff. When individuals work together in harmony, productivity, attitudes and profits all go up. It's interesting to note that when two people sing in harmony a third vibration or voice emerges. In other words in harmony two people singing together actually sound like three. Power is increased when families, corporations and even countries work together. President George W. Bush knows the importance of unity and harmony. Americans are family. Sticking together in hard times and good times, defending truth liberty freedom and justice for all.

Now is the time for us to pull together as one. Mother Theresa once said, "The ocean minus one drop is one drop less the ocean." Together we are the drops that make up the ocean of the U.S.A.

It's ironic to note that surfing was once considered by some to be anti-social. It is now proven to be beneficial for bringing families, communities and countries together. Many cities from all over America sponsor events that revolve around surfing. Even places like Arizona, Michigan and Minnesota have surfing related themes for everything from social dances, club activities to corporate events. Surfing like the United States of America stands for freedom.

Wave ridding covers the globe. Accepted and embraced by diverse people of all cultures. Surfing just might save the world. It is a common denominator regardless of language spoken. We can learn from the ocean. It has no prejudice and doesn't care if one is Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, rich or poor. All are treated equal.
America is made up of people from every corner of our planet. In other words we are all related to every person alive today. Every living creature for that matter is part of one big extended family. God bless Ohana. See you in the surf.

The Willis Bros. are surfing experts recognized for surfing the worlds largest waves and teaching thousands in Hawaii and California to surf.
