Robert McmillenBorn in Florida, resides in Hawaii, Robert learned to surf with Willis Bros method in 1998. He placed fifth in HLF for his division in 2000.

More like a family, WB Surfings' staff and organizations' mission is to perpetuate the spirit of surfing. Each individual takes pride in being a WB Surfing representative.

Join our expert surfing staff for a fantastic surfing adventure. At WB Surfing our surfing instructors are trained in C.P.R., the Willis Bros. surfing method and certified through our organization A.P.S.I. (Association of Professional Surfing Instructors).

Chase KelleyWBsurfing: Chase Kelley

At 17 years old, Chase Kelley is a mature surfer who knows the value of hard work and team work. Chase works very well with others and enjoys sharing his passion for surfing. An all around great athlete and person, Chase is a valuable member of the WB Surfing team.

Future goals include becoming a big wave tow-in surfer and riding the big waves on the North Shore of Oahu, Hi. Chase was the High school star quarterback for the Torrey Pines Falcons football team and brings a level of excellence WB Surfing students have come to expect.

Cheyne Willis

Born in 1981, Cheyne Michael Willis is a talented and experienced surfer who hails from the North Chore of Oahu. Cheyne first started surfing at 5 years old and has kept going ever since. Cheyne is in to fast breaking, hollow waves and extreme surfing maneuvers.

Cheyne is a highly rated and popular surfing instructor who specializes in introductory as well as advanced lessons. Appearing in both print and television, this handsome, well built young surfer has been featured in Nickelodeon TV, teaching Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard how to surf. Cheyne has taught with the spirit of surfing for over three years .Besides Cheynes first love of surfing, he enjoys music, hangin' out with friends and free diving. Andy Larsen

Andy Larsen was born in North California and has family ties not only in California but in Hawaii also. At 37, Andy holds 33 yrs. of surfing experience to put into every lesson. Andy is a style master who has surfed professionally for over 10 yrs. As a side note, Andy is the United States speed beer drinking champion. A fitness fanatic, surfing is more than just a sport for Andy, it's a life style. WB Surfing is proud to have Andy Larson on board.

 

McCall WillisMcCall Willis

McCall Hia'aikamana'o Willis was born on the North Shore of Oahu in 1985. She caught her first wave in her mothers tummy and has kept surfing ever since. Although she surfs purely for fun, she has ridden some of the worlds most serious surf, including the large waves of Todos Santos, off the coast of Mexico.

McCall knows the surfing basics well and she should, she grew up surrounded by some of the best surfers in the world and in some of the best surf. McCall knows what it takes to help others achieve their personal surfing goals and works exceptionally well with children. She has helped introduce the WB Surfing method to hundreds successfully.
Her outgoing personality and ability to communicate are her strong points and make it easy for anyone who goes surfing with her to succeed and have fun. McCall is a premier surfing instructor for WB Surfing and well represents the spirit of surfing. McCall's photo gallery

Jody SilstropWBsurfing: Jody Silstrop

Jody Silstrop; father, surfer, musician, provider, coach, and part-time surfing instructor has an extremely busy life but somehow balances it like a master surfer "in the barrel". In between taking care of his wife and family Jody puts back into the community by coaching a championship lacrosse team at Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, Ca. Always one to spread aloha and take time for friends Jody is an awesome bass player who also sings like a nightingale. WB surfing is fortunate to have Jody Silstrop as a premiere surfing instructor for special surfing events.

Jason Kozlik WB Surfing: Jason Kozlik

Jason is a young man with a bright future and at 18 years old, "J-boy" has already been surfing for 6 years. Being born in Chicago, IL , Jason began surfing at Del Mar Jetties off Camp Pendelton in Southern California while his mother was stationed at the Naval Base. Very mature, responsible, and fun-loving, J-boy is a top rated surfer, webmaster, and surf instructor for WB Surfing. Patient with children and knowledgeable with adults, Jason teaches beginning surfers of all ages. Jason's hobbies include surfing all the time (duh), snow boarding, skating, working on the web site, hanging out with friends, and traveling.

Jason's future plans include surfing all the time, traveling around the world, shaping beautiful hand-crafted surfboards, and sharing surfing with others from around the world. Jason's personal dream and goal is to be barreled across the reef at 3rd reef Banzai Pipeline in Hawaii. A proud graduate of Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, J-boy well represents the spirit of surfing and WB Surfing. Willis Bros. Surfing is very proud and thankful to have Jason on the team. Danny MartinWBsurfing: Danny Martin

Years of hardcore North Shore surfing have helped Danny Martin learn the skills and mind set it takes to succeed in surfing .Danny has been with the Willis Bros. for over 10 yrs. and has studied big wave surfing, surfboard shaping, surf instruction, as well as the finer points and the spirit of surfing. Jerne' WillisJerne' Willis

Jerne' is an energetic and popular 11 year old. Born on the North Shore of Oahu she learned to surf at age 2. Three years later at the age of 5 she entered and won her first contest. Jerne' received 1st place in her division in the prestigious China Unimura surfing event. By the time Jerne' was 9 yrs old she was professionally teaching surfing making her the youngest person boy or girl to ever be a professional surfing instructor.

Currently she is student body president of her school, a published poet/writer, enjoys surfing, sports, music and shopping. Jerne' has silky golden hair and big brown eyes. Jerne's photo gallery

Myzsa MikaeleMyzsa Willis

Myzsa Audrielle is a vivacious 9 year old born on the North Shore of Oahu. She began surfing at age 2. Myzsa first preformed the mystical surfing maneuver "the headstand" when she was only 5 years old becoming the youngest person boy or girl to ever do so.

Surfing and headstands have lead her into gymnastics were now at the tender age of 9 she is a future Olympic hopeful. Myzsa enjoys surfing, gymnastics, music and family. She is also a published poet/writer. Myzsa also enjoys modeling part time and appeared on last months cover of San Diego Family magazine. Myzsa has beautiful green eyes and blond hair that curls. Dennis HeiptDennis Heipt

Committed to excellence in all life endeavors, Dennis Heipt excels in sharing time with the proven basic WB surfing fundamentals and the spirit of surfing. Informative, inspirational, patient, and fun, WB surfing is thankful to have Dennis as an instructor, advisor, and Hanai brother.

Dennis enjoys helping others succeed and has successfully introduced 100's of people to the sport of surfing. When not teaching or surfing himself, Dennis enjoys family, business, yoga, bicycling, swimming, and paddling. Fortunate to have vast life experience, Dennis rates surfing as right up there at the top. "Life is not wasted by riding waves but rather wasted by not riding waves". As an Instructor, advisor, and Hanai brother, Dennis Heipt is a proud and valued member of the WB surfing staff.

Ace Cool (Alec Cooke)Ace Cool

Ace has been surfing Big Waves in excess of 20 feet in Hawaii since the 1970's and 1980's. He has been Tow-In Surfing Extremely Big Waves since 1994. Ace Cool holds the record for "The Biggest Wave" ever paddled into, and a postcard to prove it (35 feet). Ace wants to tow-in to a 100 foot wave. http://www.acecool.net
