Swell Times and Fanciful Dreams

First and foremost the Willis brothers would like to thank everyone who has and continues to support our music. Our new C.D. Swell Times and Fanciful Dreams is receiving a positive response from listeners around the world. For sure the Willis brothers music is very organic-------- designed to promote an “at the beach” feeling but it’s also very uplifting and inspirational. “Swell Times and Fanciful Dreams” a compilation of 12 original Willis brothers songs performed by Milton Willis and brother Michael Willis fits somewhere in between a Bob Dylan heavy weight and Jack Johnson super smooth sound.
The first song is “Swell Times” written by World Champion Big Wave Surfer Milton Willis. Swell times is of coarse a double intendre’. This song laments about good times as well as bad times and the ever-changing ups and downs everyone experiences in life. Our mother Saundra Willis added Fanciful Dreams and believe me Fanciful Dreams do come true!
The second song is “Everybody Needs Love” and we all do. This is another very stirring and heartfelt song written by Milton. Every Body Needs Love has a great rhythm and more importantly great lyrical content. Everybody needs love --- Like the flowers need the sunshine---------the stars the heavens above---------- the ocean needs the shoreline--------- Every man, every woman need love!!! Everybody needs love.
Number three of twelve original and powerful songs is 1 plus the right 1 = 3 written and performed by Milton Willis. What Milton sings talking about here is harmony! The message is clear and the sound pure ----- 1 plus the right 1 = 3 this song is romantic yet it is also even more expansive it’s also inclusive to the entire human experience, music and universal truth.
Number four is “Changes” and if anyone on earth can sing about changes the Willis brothers can. These deep and positive words ring out and satisfy even the thirstiest of souls. “All you need is all you got! Change begins with a single thought!” To hear this song is to love this song it’s powerful message and simplistic beat is deep ---deep like the ocean.
Number five is written by yours truly Michael Willis. “Waimea Bay is a fun song with an upbeat feeling. Pure fun --------Waimea Bay is a song about surfing and a surfer’s love of the ocean. Actually this song was written to put a smile on your face and a feeling of joy in your heart. This is a song about loving the ocean but it’s also about loving nature! If you love nature you will love this song!
Number six is the only instrumental “Autumn” written and performed by Milton Willis is a beautiful piece of music that allows the listenor to imagine his or her own lyrics or feelings. For me this song helps me feel not only empowered but also at peace with myself and some how confident in divine perfection. Easy going---- listening to “autumn” is like taking a mental vacation.
Number seven is written by Michael Willis and is titled “Everyday” Every day could be about just about anything but what it is about are the everyday trials each and everyone of us go through. Not only go through but also go through with flying colors! As the song says “Every day’s a trial ---I’m gonna keep on walking those miles (never give up) Hold my head up high --- reach for the sky and I will be on my way !!!!!!!!!!!!!
“Surf the Curl” written by Michael Willis is an awesomely romantic surf song for those in love, those who want to be in love and those who believe in true love. “Roses are Red----the Ocean is Blue heaven knows our love is true ------I love you !!!!” True love is everlasting, joyful and of coarse fun! This song is for lovers and believers of love.
Number nine is “IF the Sun don’t Shine” and guess what if the sun don’t shine just as the song says everything gonna still be fine!!!! This feel real good song is written by Michael and is very much in the same spirit as “Don’t worry be happy” a hit tune a few years back written and performed by a fellow named Bobby McFerrin.
Number nine, number nine ---- no it’s not a Beatles tune it’s a powerful song called “Wave of the Day” and is the tenth song on our C,D. written by Michael Willis this is truly a surfers surfing song! When it comes down to it it’s about each individuals life experiences and the life waves they ride and go through. This upbeat song puts the wind in your sails for if it’s possible for Milton to achieve something difficult it’s equally possible for you. This song was inspired by a true event that being Milton paddling into a fifty foot wave!
Sunny Days and Big Waves is a classic surfing song. This song rolls on like an ocean wave telling a powerful story set to a laid back easy listening beat. The acoustic guitars really work well together with Michael on rhythm/vocals and Milton on lead. This song leaves you with a clean feeling much the same as actually riding waves.
Time Goes Bye, our final song on the C.D. written and performed by Milton Willis is a deceptively simple tune with a very profound message. As Milton sings ------ “Time waits for no one --- time goes by.” The past is gone the future yet to arrive the only moment we have is the present ---- “and the stars shine bright in the sky!” Each and everyone is a star with their very own bright light meant to shine on! This song really leaves a person feeling full of courage and positiveity.
Swell Times and Fanciful Dreams ----- will100% entertain you but even more importantly these wonderful songs will leave you feeling relaxed yet also empowered. In today’s stress filled environment it’s comforting to know if you cannot make it down to the beach for needed R and R you can pop in a Swell Times and Fanciful Dreams C.D.
